Eibach FD springs discontinued?

I'm having a really hard time finding the Eibach Pro Kit for the FD (Part# 5525.140). Lots of people still list them, but when you try to order they call you can tell you they can't get them. I have been told multiple times now from vendors that they can't get them anymore at all. So far I have tried:

* Tirerack (listed, but canceled my order, can't get them)
* Mazdacomp (still on the site, but confirmed on the phone they can't get them)
* Suspension Max - some random place i found on google (On their site, can't get them. They even have 2 up for say on their ebay store but confirmed that don't stock them and can't get them).
* Some other random ebay listing. After I finished the transaction it was mysteriously canceled and my money returned. I suspect that they discovered that they couldn't sell me the springs that they promised.

Can anyone confirm that eibach is definately not producting these springs anymore? Does anyone have any tips on where I might be abel to find some?

I just ordered a set from Summit Racing less than a month ago. They were backordered for about 2-3 weeks but I did get them.

Try Summit, maybe I got the last set, or maybe they are still able to order .

Summit says they don't stock them, they special order from eibach. The sales rep called eibach for me and confirmed they are discontinued and they can't get them at all anymore.

You might have just gotten the last new set in the US.

Wow, lucky me I guess...

If you are set on Eibach springs, maybe go the koni / ground control route. Otherwise I think H&R springs are used by quite a few members.

Good luck!

I have had H&R springs on almost all of my cars, and they have been great, I would recommend going that route since you cant get the eibachs

I just put coilovers on my car, I would consider selling the Eibachs I took off.

Another option would be the RSR Down springs. They have a similar spring rate as the Eibachs but with a little better stance. I believe Rishie can get them for those interested.

Ahaha this is getting comical. Talked to another vendor. RS*R says they have discontinued their FD springs too. H&R was on "backorder" for them.

Also try Ground Control

As much as I appreciate Richie's support for the cause, you can also try Jay at Ground Control....course, I run 650/550s with my AD setup , don't think I need more.
