Which drag street tires to use?

I was wondering what street drag tires (Nitto or BFG) people were having the most success with. I ran the BFG's for the last part of '00. The Nitto's have been getting good results I have seen. Anyone with experience/help is appreciated.

Thanks

I would get the BFGs, the Nittos work, will warm up quicker, but they wear out quicker too. Once the BFGs get warm, they will grip better than the Nittos, at least thats been my experience.

I've ran both of them but the BFG Drag Radials are Far Superior on the track. The Nittos are very good for street use though.

Hey V10 killer, what are your 60 ft times for those runs? Why are the Nitto' s better for the street? I am confused. I have an 85 GSL with turbo 2 pushing 280 rwhp. My only options for the strip are 205/45/15 (nittos) and either 205/50/15 or 225/50/15 (BFG's). I know that the 225 BFG's would look nice too because of the width. I only plan to 1 maybe 2 season out of the tires. 10-12 thousand miles and 4-5 events each year.
