Double checking Fikse Profil 17" fitment

tried to get the Gsrsol fitment of
17x9 +41 F
17x10 +44 R
saw in person and it looks GREAT.

Sent to Fikse and they recommended

9.0 X 17 Profil Fikse Wheel $766.00 per wheel, +44.5mm offset w/ 47mm
caliper overhang, +38mm offset w/ 41mm caliper overhang clearance available.

10.0 X 17 Profil Fikse Wheel $811.00 per wheel, +44.5mm offset and 47mm of
brake caliper overhang available.

with the 99 spec brakes I need 43mm to clear? Right Manny?

9x17 +44.5
10x17 +44.5

does this look fine??

What is overhang? Is that caliper clearance, sometimes noted as "pad height"? If so this is the fitment to go with up front.

47 mm of front brake clearance is plenty for the '99 RS front brake calipers. You might consider a lower pad height for the rear wheels, since the rear calipers don't need that much "pad height". Lower pad heights will give a "deeper" rim lip for the rear wheels, perhaps 38 mm of pad height for the rear calipers?

Of course I'm "Mr. Symmetrical Fitment", so my recommendation would be 9.5 x 17 with 46 to 48 mm offset all around with at least 45 mm front brake caliper clearance.

Profil 13s are NICE!

I think over hang is pad height but will contact them back.

Manny, what would you suggest for offset then in the back? The Fikse have that beveled lip and a wider lip would be more aesthetically pleasing for me

In looking back at old threads from both SleepR1 and rynberg, I think we have similar preferences in wheels (except for the stagger)

I am still debating...could you guys check this thread out and give me some other ideas??

Using the BBS RG-R rear fitment as an example, and you can extrapolate for 10 wide x 17, 44.5-mm offset Fikse Profil 13 rears.

With 9.5 x 17 BBS RG-R rear fitment, the offset is 38 mm, and rear brake caliper clearance becomes 26 mm, yielding a 69.4 mm rim lip depth (a healthy 2.72 inches of rear rim lip!). With your setup (44.5 mm offset 10 x 17), assuming 26-mm rear brake caliper clearance, you'll end up with about the same amount of rear rim lip showing, 2.75 inches--11 inches wide, 44.5-mm offset yields a back space of 7.25 inches, add another inch for 26 mm caliper clearance making the pad height and back space, 8.25 inches--the difference between overall wheel width and pad height/back space = outside rim lip = 2.75 inches.

FWIW the BBS RG-R, 9 x 17 rear fitment is 41 mm offset, rim depth of 2.4 inches, and rear caliper clearance of 24 mm (which is why we cannot run these up front!).

Check with Fikse to verify their caliper clearance for the 44.5-mm, 10 x 17. That 2.75 inches of rim lip will be built in...makes sense, because the overall rear wheel front space becomes 3.75 inches, assuming a 1-inch brake caliper clearance

One note--rim depth is the distance between the inboard surface of the wheel spoke, and the outboard edge of the rim lip. To get an accurate measurement of ACTUAL rim lip thickness, you'll need to subtract the thickness of the Fikse Profil 13's wheel spoke from the rim depth measurement
