dont have the key to my wheel locks
bought my FD a few months ago and need to get my wheels off. Unfortunatly the lugs have wheel locks on them. I've tried pounding sockets on them with no results. I can't get the car to a welder since my engine is out. Does anyone know how I can get these off or where I can buy a key? Here is a picture.

That looks to be the OEM Mazda locks. Just go to a dealer and ask him to borrow the set of keys they have. I just had to leave my driver license as a deposit.

Or, if you are so inclined to do so, drive a 12 point, 1/2 drive socket on it with a hammer, attach ratchet and remove as usual. Use a socket 1 size too small to go around it.
I won a bet with a Firestone Tire "mechanic" using this method. Jack *** said there was no way to remove it without the key or a special tool, neither of which they had. Needless to say, 15 minutes and a $50 discount later, they were all off.
*Note that it might scar them up a little but they will still be usable. Also, you don't have to drive the socket on very far, just as long as it is on there pretty straight.

These, unfortunately, won't fit, I've got a set. Also, if you dont like the method mentioned above, go to the zone or pep boys, they sell a lug nut removal tool for like $10 bucks that you can use with an impact wrench.

Or you could do it with out damaging the wheel at all by calling "Mcgard Locking Lug Nuts" who makes all of the OE locking lug nuts. Their phone number is 800-669-6887. All you would need to do is take an impression of the lock groove shape and fax it to them and they will next day air you a new key.
