Are the delrin bushing kits still being made?

Guys, bare with me as I havent been keeping up.
Is anyone making a delrin bushing kit for the FD? Were there any major issues with them?
I was just given a set, no idea who made it.

Thanks!

I don't know if anyone on the forum is making them. But I do see remember a member posting
for someone who was selling the sets on ebay for ~350 ish. Just not sure how complete
this set is compared to what was being sold in group buys on here.

For those who have them and by now put some miles on them, are you happy with their performance? I want something that will hold up to street and track abuse while lasting 50k.

I would stick to stock bushings unless it's strictly a track car.I bought my car with the Delrins already in. The single best mod I did was replacing them with stock rubber. The squeaking was intolerable. I did not notice any change in handling.

I've had them at least 7-8k miles now. Make sure to put Zerk's fittings on them as they are NOT "self lubricating" as advertised. I believe thats why they squeeked on the poster above. Mine did the same thing after a little over a year until I hit them with some lube with the grease gun.

I dont mind them, I dont think they added that much NVH to the car, or at least what they added gets way overblown from forum posters. Compared to the stock old rubber they added significant "tightness" to the suspension, but nothing more than a set of poly ones would do.

If I had it to do all over again, I think id save up and buy the Mazdaspeed rubber ones though. Less NVH added, good handling, and no need to grease them on occasion. I'm sure the poster above didnt notice a difference in handling because he got new rubber bushings vs 15yr old worn out rubber. In fact, I'm mostly convinced thats the biggest "upgrade" of any of this delrin / poly / MS rubber - just "new" stuff instead of worn out stuff.

Consensus among the vets here is Superpros are the best choice. Delrin isn't much better than nylon. As previously posted, they squeak and are too harsh for the street.

Urethane seems to be the material of choice for street and occasional track use

Just noticed the comments about Delrin squeaking and being too harsh.

Squeaking is not a subjective topic - either the bushings squeak or they don't.

I haven't heard any squeaking out of mine yet. Haven't been running them a long time yet (installed 3 months ago), but also just autox this car for the most part. Also installed Zerk fittings on all suspension pieces that got Delrin bushings and made sure the fittings worked. It will be interesting to see how long before any of them need re-greased. These are the Lube Groove bushings BTW.

As for harshness, that is fairly subjective. However I don't find them harsh in my car, nor in afgmot01978's car. They certainly cause the car to be more responsive than stock bushings.

I autox on a couple of fairly rough courses. If the Delrin bushings were causing noticeably more harshness it would be discernible because the car would get upset. Ain't happening.

The butt dyno doesn't find them particularly harsh either.
