Coilover Damper adjustment Clicks...

2 of my Tein Flexes has too many clicks on the damper adjustment ****. The other 2 has the normal amount of 20 or so clicks, but the other 2 have much more and each individial "turn" is smaller in comparison

Anyone know what's going on?

you should've read the instructions dude. i also have flex's

page 6
http://www.tein.com/tech_info/inst/6n66u.pdf

basically, the **** will only stop going one way. i forget which. i think it's full soft. going in the other direction (iirc, going harder), it will keep going even past 16. but you are only supposed to go 16 max, or else you risk damaging the shock.

it stops at full hard!!
the manual says that going all the way soft can damage the damper.

turn the ***** all the way clockwise (full stiff), then count back clicks to set them.

I did... I turned it to full stop counter clockwise, then counted the clicks going clockwise, but these clicks were still more like half clicks and there were many more of them

You need to go back take remedial reading class again. The manual you supposedly read clearly states to turn the adjuster full stop CLOCKWISE then dial it back the specified number of clicks which should NEVER exceed 16.

LoL time to try out a different brand perhaps? Too bad Tanabe doesnt have anything for Rx7s. I have Stance on my FC. They're pretty decent -- adjustment range is very good. Compression valving is a little too stiff for the roads I drive on though.

I wonder if Endless has any Rx7 suspension. Anyone know offhand?
