Coilover comparison ?'s inside
I am going to a fully adjustable coilover because with my new wheels, the front is too low and is causing rubbing issues. I figure I might as well just get the real thing. I am not autox or draging...just enjoying the car no the weekends basically. I am not looking to drop a bundle, but I ave 3 choices picked out which are:
Apexi EXV coilovers - 1,060.00
Tein SS coilovers - 1,050.00
Megan Racing coilovers - 899.99
All are very respectfully close as far as price is concerned. My initial response is to go with the most popular brand, being Tein, but not sure if that is the best to go with. Any ideas? What are your experiences? Below is a link to the products..hopefully not breaking any rules with the link:

Honestly if you're not going to be autocrossing, tracking the car or doing some sort of similiar activities, save your money, all you'll get is a rough riding car that is never able to exploit the advantages of a coilover suspension. As for a better option for a new suspension, I'd suggest some decent performance oriented non-adjustable shocks and some aftermarket springs with a small drop. If your tires are rubbing now, the car's been over lowered, or the tires are way too big, fix the issue, don't waste your money. I own some of the softest coilovers offered, and I wouldn't be willing to put up with the worse ride if it weren't for my track addiction.
