ceramic or semi metallic pads?

i am interested in axxis ultimates or metal masters but cannot decide which ones to get. ive heard so many good things about metal masters and barely heard any info at all on ultimates. being so...i would like to know pros/cons of ceramic and semi metallics pads. thanks

I don't use either but would choose ceramic over metal so the rotors won't get worn so easily. My personal preference is carbon for street. You never mentioned the intended use.

For street use and auto cross stock or ceramic pads are great. Metal ..even A.Zone stuff takes a little heating up and the metal dust just welds on to your rims. Its a bitch to maintain. Even for spirited braking take ceramic. FYI All brakes are of some ceramic composition , to my understanding its just using the word to advertise is what hasnt been done.

Hawk Street pad (Not +) or similar carbon/ceramic. Stay away from semi or full metalic.
