Brake Rotors (FD3S)?

Looking for some expert opinions... my car is a 1993 RX7 R1 model and I am trying to see if there is a significant difference in the standard type rotors or slotted and dimpled rotors. I will not be racing on a track, but will be having some fun on the street. Is it worth spending the extra money for the slotted and dimpled rotors or are standard rotors good enough? Thanks and I appreciate any help!

upgrade to some good pads and you'll be fine.
