Big!!! Big!!! Wheels on an FD!!!
I was wondering if I could fit 17x10 front and 17x13 rear on an fd with a wide body kit ?
If anyone knows any company that makes good looking wheels of this size please list below or e-mail me @

There are 2 widebody kits I believe.
The first is from PFS and IMO it looks like it was tacked on. You can see rivet looking things on it.
The 2nd is the 15th anniversary RX-7 which had a full body kit
For wheels, 13xanything seems a bit extreme. Thats like a 335-355 tire

I have the MS widebody kit and Im going to tell you your not going to get x13 anything under the rear fenders. At the most x11s and they will stickout of the fenders if you go anything over 285s. The MS kit only adds about 1/2 inch to each rear fender.

And the point would be.....
Seriously what is your reasoning for coming up with those sizes? A reasonable maximum would be an 18x10 wheel running 285/30. This will require an aftermarket coil-over setup. Again, what is the reasoning?

Does this car look gay? I didn't think so...
Kinesis K5, 17x10 with 255 tires up front, 17x12.5 with 335s out back. You should be able to squeeze in 13" wide wheels in back but they're right, do you really need that? That is Dave's old car btw, probably has around 600HP... (3-rotor)

Looks like Cam Worth's Pettit car with crazy paint scheme.
Seriously unless you're putting down 600-700 hp, that much rubber is strictly for "show".
Just think how much those rear wheel/tires weigh! I'd guess at over 60 lbs each!!!

I think the front looks too narrow with just the rear flares. With the additional weight of a 3 rotor and all that rubber in the back it must push like a pig.

Kinesis too baby!!!!!!!!!! I happen to like that FD. I think it looks damn nice. I wouldn't mind driving it. I bet it looks a lot nicer than many of our own cars too. The paint must have cost as much as a motor and standalone.

That middle picture looks sick.....! Imagine being behind that at a stoplight... you would be thinking HOLY SH*T!
The fronts are stock and the rears are bolt on Petit Racing flares I believe and not Peter Farrel Sportscar stuff. 335/17's look huge!
I want the suspension/tires like that on my 3rd gen when I build one.

I too think the front end is lacking something...but from the back, that's one of the sweetest looking FD's I've ever seen
P.S. The upside down logo is a nice touch on that car. I have mine right side up, but on that car it looks good

What kind of track, straight or crooked? What size tires were on the car before?
