Beware of this wheel vendor>

Hello All!

I hope its ok to post this here, if not just delete this thread! I already posted the incident below on another thread but thought it warranted its own topic.

I made the mistake of doin business with "Wholesale Hyperformance" last week. The saleman(I dont recall his name right now) actually was pretty cool w/ me and he pretty much made me a deal I cldnt refuse. So I ordered them, before we hung up I asked when they were goin out (they were in stock) and he assured me the following day (17th) they wld be OTW. I thanked him and I thought that was the end.
Well, its now the 24th and I didnt get any shipment, phone call or email. So I decide to call them, I cldnt recall the guys name so I spoke w/ the guy who answered the phone and his reply was...."yea dude hows it goin, they're right here in front of me. Silver right?" I say, "Uh no, they're gunmetal". He puts me on hold, comes back on the phone and basically gives me no explanation why they're still there a week after I ordered them AND have been charged for them. So in the annoyed state I was in told him to cancel the order! He was like "dude you dont want to do that.....these are tough wheels to get I promise they're goin out today". I told him I was promised they were goin out last Friday(17th) and a week later they're still in front of him.........cancel my order. He still insists that I dont/shldnt cancel the order....(so at this time I gave him the opportunity to do the right thing....that is to make ur customers HAPPY after you foul up) and that was to ship them to me via next day OR 2-3 day delivery max OR I dont want them. I kinda knew what the answer wld be but threw it out there anyway. He puts me on hold again to speak to the manager and says sorry no can do. I say OK no problem just reimburse my credit card ASAP. LOL....I told him I wld call my CC company to check on the reimbursement later in the evening and this is where it got foul.....he said well sir that can take till the end of the business day AND/OR end of next week.
WTF is he talking about? I told him I wld be calling my CC company after I hung up and warn others how they do business. Then the profanities started to fly... LMAO! always funny seeing ppl's breaking point and true personality.

Be forewarned! Im sure others had decent transactions but I thought Id share mine w/ ya.

I work for a CC company, and depending if you have an extended warranty/buyers assurance plan, he is correct, in a sense. I work for the largest financial institution in the world (Citicorp) and with the majority of the creditcards, if a charge was placed on the creditcard the same day, odds are you wont be able to place it into dispute until the merchant sends in their charge copy slips (daily paperwork).

But, since the charge was made at the beginning of the month, the odds are good that they merchant (in this case Wholesale Hyper) did send in the charge copy slips, and had $xx.xx charged to your credit card. Just simply call up the 800 customer service number on the back, and once it has posted to the account, just simply say you would like to place this item into dispute, bc it simply, sucks ***.

Im not sure what creditcard company you used, but if it is a citicard of some sort, just post a reply or sometihng, and i'll help you through this (i am a fraud investigations agent) bc in a sense, that is technically fraud on a merchants part, and you could initiate an investigation on this, depending on how long Wholesale draws it out, or how long they test your temper. Like i said, if you have any questions pertaining to this, just reply, or message me. i rarely check my messages bc i only get online fer like 3-10 minz a day, but i'll try to help if i can.

Thnx guys!

RedR1: TY for the tips! I called Cap1 as soon as I hung up w/ that moron. They filed a claim for me and they did say it wld take up to a week or two to straighten it all out. I feel alot better calling Cap1 tho obviously I cldnt trust Wholesale Hyperformances word about the reimbursement and didnt want to give them any more time to possibly rob me. I already deducted the payment from my balance so no worries there.

Thnx anyway.........my hunt for new wheels continues!

You got mail.

Sucks ***. I get a little behind sometimes too. Machines need repair etc. Sometimes **** does happen, but I will say that I cater to an exclusive community and therefore you guys are at the top of my list when it comes to prioritizing.

I had some goods damaged last week by FEDEX, so don't ever use them. Never had a problem with UPS. This backed me up for a good four days cause I could not decide who to ship through or if I even wanted to ship tires mounted on wheels anymore. SUCKS ***!!!!

I hope your situation works out, or you can just call me too for more assistance. 408-947-0505 office.

Thanks, Rishie

Cap1 is pretty good, i havent heard much about their operations in regards to fraud investigations, but since they are in the top 10 financial insitutions, im pretty sure they will be on the ball.

And Brady Mahoney, we are all here to help eachother, and lend a helping hand wherever applicable. Its like a giant family here

Damn sorry to hear that. I thought www.wholehyper.com was a pretty reputable vendor. Although I know a friend of mine ordered a Bomex bumper for his accord and it took way longer than it should have to get here. Like 3 months.
