Best wheels on the market!!!!!

OK, I have moved my list around and now intro forged sits at the top of the list of favorite wheel manufacturers. if you are wondering what i am talking about maybe you should check it out for yourself. www.introforged.com then click on wheels and look at the fs (forged series). if one of those wheels doesn't cause special feelings inside of you that you have never felt before then you might want to quit modding cars. just my 2 cents.
thanks

You'll have to hold down those urges until the beginning of next year at the very earliest (I could have sworn they said spring), because they said (a month or two back when I called) that their suppliers could not get them anything until then. Seems to be nice wheels, and popular with the Audi crowd.

One Audi aftermarket parts vendor told me to be careful in dealing with them, as that they (the Audi store) were of the opinion that the owner is a crook. (?) They said they made nice wheels though...

Listen to Dclin. We were supposed to be setup as the distributor up here but never got a response. I was ready to sell several of their wheels but they never called back. Don't get it. I was speaking with Vince.

FYI, they are not lightweight by any means and are only two piece wheels. I think they are a great wheel, just no good if you can't get them.

Re: Best wheels on the market!!!!!

You might need to hold your excitement down with these wheels until we get some reviews from folks who've actually ordered a set of Intro Forged. The link doesn't even work!!

well the new forged series appears to be 3 piece. asthetically they look amazing. rishie, how do you know that they aren't light weight if you haven't gotten any of them??? oh well. i guess i will just have to admire them from a distance until i hear from people who actually start to receive them.

just about creamed myself... the FS series has THE wheel I've been looking for, for my FD. If they're anywhere close to $450/ea and of a decent weight/appropriate size, I'll jump in... need to save like $5,000 first.

I'm broke.

Call/e-mail them for a weight quote. They are not heavy heavy, but not super light like the Volks (SE37K/A/CE28Ns/etc) that Rishie deals with mostly. Remember, all things are relative.

I can't remember the exact weights as that I deleted the email from them, but it was within the range of your typical better wheel. Nothing that stood out in my mind (either super light or super heavy), so I filed it away in my head as just 'nice' wheels.

If you like them, just have to be patient is all.

I just recall speaking with vince and discussing the wheel that resembles the CP-035R. There was quite a huge difference in weight. I'm talking percentage wise. Probably about 30% heavier.

I know several Audi guys that run them also. I also know some VW guys and have a friend with a Corvette who runs 20's of theirs on his C5. Me not receiving them and knowing certain traits of them are two different things. I think for the price and the fact that they are mulitpiece are great things. What concerns me is the turn around time and aloofness of the whole situation.

We've been wanting to carry them for a very long time. No luck though. Empty promises I guess. I still consider the Kinesis, Fikse, HRE line of wheels to be on another level however. If you do a search for Intro forged I made a post quite some time ago about these wheels. Found them thru his group buy on i-club earlier in the year.

The finishing is okay. Seen better. Depends if you're going for polish or powder I guess. I saw a set on a baby blue SLK that looked sweet. Had polished lip and coated face.

Later, Rishie

Just my .02 cents worth. Good wheel for the price. Majpr thing to look at with multipiece wheels is their ability to have replacement parts. Hope Intro will be around for that time period.

points well taken rishie...i wasn't trying to dog you, just asking questions. yeah, i was planning on running a set of 19's and 20's on my vette. i was thinking about getting hre's, but these seemed to be priced better...not that it really matters. from the pics they look to be better than hre, but pics can always be deceiving. i love the rolled lip though, definately a plus. i think i will be a guinea pig and see how well their service is, dn't know if i can wait until spring though.

I'll try and call vince to see what's going on. I gave up about two months ago. Supra, let me see if I can get you a deal. Let me know what you're looking for. The style, sizes and so forth. At least this way you'll get a deal to compensate for any unreasonable wait period.

Thanks, Rishie

Custom wheels I expect a turnaround of one month. That **** rarely happens. Turns out to around 60 days.

BEing their weight and forged construction I feel these would be more street/road worthy than the Racing Hart CP035R, FYI.

i would like the aero (5 star) in the fs series rishie. 19 by 9.5 front and 20 by 10.5 rear (considering 20 by 12 for the rear and slightly tubbing the inner rear wheel well) lwt me know what you can do.
thanks

****, remind of the vehicle you own and what bodykit you have. This one may require some measurements on your behalf. What suspension are you running?

Thanks, RIshie

Vince...that name rang a bell with me. A few years ago there was a company offering essentially knock off's of Sparco Viper NS II's and others. Their rims were not only lighter, but cheaper as well. They soon went out of business or disappeared and if I remember correctly, the owner's name was Vince. I tried to get a set but was unable as they were out.

Well yeah, hehe, now that I know you have a vette. I was expecting an import RWD vehicle. I'll be sure to find out.

Thanks, Rishie

Please PM me with Intros price on these as I'd be curious if they're still offerring these at cost, which they were at i-club.

I forgot to mention. When looking at my friend's C5 I would have suggested going 20's front and rear. Only thing is that his car wasn't lowered so it just looked funny. Shorter tire in rear than in the front. Just a heads up. You might have a totally different situation.

yeah i would ideally still like 19's front and 20's rear. i would like to stay the way the factory had things set...but if you think 20's all the way around would look better...what the heck. also, my car is lowered just right. i can email you a pick of the way i would like it to look.
thanks
