Best wheels for FD
#26
My friend had 19" iForged on his benz, w/ painted centers. The clear coat started flaking off after six months.

The Volk CE28N's I wanted would have been around $2600 w/o tires. They are forged monoblock and one of the lightest but you're SOL when you bend one and it takes 6 months for a replacement or worse Volk discontinues them.
I got a slight bend in outer lip on one of my front wheels recently and it was readily fixed with two whacks from a rubber mall. Not sure if that trick would have worked on the Volks.
In professional racing circles Fikse wheels are known for being one of the sturdier wheels you can get.

I don't remember the sizing and offsets on my old FM-10's. But I remember it took a 6.5inch pothole @ 110km/h to bend my lip. No cracks nothing and I was driving the car in Montreal probably a city with worse roads than Bombay. Also cost 90$ to fix the bent lip and curb rash!

My favorite wheel for my particular color, Forgeline LS 2-piece. I weighed my 18x10.5 rear rim today, and it was (surprisingly) 18 lbs.
If I had a different colored car, though, I'd probably go with either CCW Classics, CCW Sp500s, Fikse FM-5s, BBS LMs, or Volk CE28Ns.
