BBS RGR's in 18x9 are on close out at Tire Rack

Not exactly the correct place to post, but I was trying to reach the fd audience. I just noticed the The Tire Rack is closing out their BBS RGR rims in the 18x9 +45 offset. Looks like they are going for $439ea.....reg. $720ea. Sweet deal.

INterior/exterior/audio section and wheels/rims f/s section would be the right sections...

SNTP, do you even own a FD? pfft

Thank you, three sevens, for posting in THIS section as these wheels are the perfect offset for a FD. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise. Does anyone know how long these sort of deals usually last?

WaLieN, the close outs usually last until supplies are depleted, from my experience. I am going to call tomo. to see how many they have in stock.

Maybe SNTP didnt completely read my post and thinks that I was asking were to put this info. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

I wish they had them in 18X10 with the correct offset, I would sell my first born for them.

Any other offsets available? If they are only 18x9's id like to have around +25 front and +10 rear.

They do, for the rear only.

I hope you don't want those offsets for your FD unless you're running some crazy widebody

Looks like the 18X9's are 19lbs. I just talked to Tire Rack and they said they have 15 RGR's in 18x9 in stock. Looks like the offset is +35 though. That's what they recommend for an FD in the RGR at 18x9 in the rear. I don't think much of that offset myself. I was going to pick up a set, but not too sure now.

+35s won't fit on the front or rear. Depending on your suspension setup, they will either rub against the fender, stick out, or both.

good call. for some reason alot of wheels are still on closeout though... weird.

RGR, SP1's are on sale in select sizes.

18x9 BBS RGR $369/ea. (regular: $720 ea.)
even cheaper now!

By sticking out, assuming the rear isn't dropped, yes. But will it fit nicely, w/o sticking out, or w/o rubbing (if you're dropped), NO.

I'm not shure what if any difference 18's would be but I have 17x9/+35R w/255's and there is no rubbing with my car lowered to 25.5". That's as low as I will go. I can clear parking stops, dips and driveways. 265's may need fender rolling but I haven't tried that size yet.

why would a 17,18,19x9+35 stick out in the rear?

even the holy bible of offsets spreadsheet says it wont.

and FWIW, a friend of mine runs 17x9+35 and his rear is dumped (24.25"), no rubbing.

You know what? You're absolutely right. I read too fast. I was thinking of a 9.5" or 10" rear wheel. My bad. A 9.5" is pushing it at +38 as it is...

aha. all good. BUT. hate to say, but 9.5+38 wouldnt be pushing it! i ran 9.5+40 with a 285/30/18 in the rear and had no rubbing probs :o
