Autoexe 6 point front strut brace

I just installed the Autoexe 6 point front strut brace on the project car. The brace is made for the RHD but with very little cutting, it works on the LHD. It's probably the best and most soilde strut bar on the market.

There is also a 4 point rear brace.

The rear brace requires cutting on the interior panel so it's not installed yet.

If any of you are interested in the Autoexe braces or parts in general, please let me know. Thank you.

Those bonnet dampers are very over-priced. The Japanese price is 28,000 Yen so it's about $280 including shipping from Japan. You might as well just go to your local auto parts store and buy those universal ones and make your own and save at least $200 bucks.

Chuck,

How about those braces....front, rear, and under-car...are they overpriced as well?

They are expensive but I wouldn't say overpriced because the way they make those are pretty nice. I have the whole complete set: the strut braces and the under chassis braces.

The strut braces front and back are 68,000 Yen so they are about $750 a set including shipping from Japan.

The under braces are 58,000 Yen so they are about $650 a set including shipping from Japan.

The under braces are made for 99 and up RX-7 so when they are installed on our cars, a set of adapter plates are needed. A Japanese company called Project 7 makes those adapter plates and they are $150 a set.

Here is a picture of the rear strut brace installed.

Here are some photos of the under chassis braces installed. The photos are taken from the Autoexe website and they do not show the adapter palte.

wow...I've always been interested in underbody braces...but, at 800 bucks plus shipping to have them is a little too much for me. Well, I'll save it until I have enough money
