Anyone running 16'' track wheels on an FD?
I'm looking at getting some Diamond Racing wheels as a cheap wheel to tide me over for a bit.
Since pretty much everything is in 17'' or larger, I can't find any info on 16's.
Thinking of a 245 R88 or something along those lines.

I've run the stock wheels for track wheels using Victoracers. You can get Kumho Victoracers or V710's in 245/45/16's. Hoosier also carries their A6/R6 line in those sizes. That's about the biggest you'll get at 16" without going to a full racing slick.
I'm looking at going with Diamond Racing wheels as well in 16", but wider than 8" for a racing slick.

Other than the stock wheels I can also source you some
Enkei RPF1 in 16x8.0 which are relatively cheap as well.
They weight around 14-15lbs just like the stock FD wheels.
What do those diamond racing wheels cost?

ARD T2, I`m going to buy some RPF1`s in the future but for now I`m looking for a cheap setup since my build it costing a lot.
I was thinking something in the 16x9.5 but what would backspacing be on something like that...

I read the thread about hte guy who had the 15`` superspun wheels from Diamond. How strong are these wheels. I would be using them for not only track but also hill climb events where there would be bumps in the road and stuff.
I was thinking like 16x9.5 with a 6.5`` backspacing.

The wheels are pretty strong for the price; a lot of racers use them. However, if I were only going to have 1 set of track rims, I'd go for something from Enkei instead. I'm going with the Diamonds as I want to have more than 1 set of track rims/tires.

One set of dedicated track wheels, but I will still have street wheels with good rubber (Star specs) or something on them incase I needed it.
But for like $400 it`s a steal for those wheels. And 16`` tires are cheap.

That's a good fitment but if this is an OEM wheel from another manufacturer you need to verify the centerbore.
Mazda 67.1
Toyota Supra 60.1
Nissan 300ZX 66.1
This means that any of the other two makes would have to get the centerbore machined out to match the MAzda centerbore since it's larger.

What would the offset be on the 16 rpf1 to fit a fd?
