considering 225 / 55 / 15s for the vert . Sidewall height would be essentially same as stock 205/60. as opposed to the lower 225/50's lots of people seem to use. Might give good performance and maybe more forgiving on the bumpy roads in manitoba ? ..... fitment issues ?

i'm running 225/50/15 on a 15x8 wheel, but that's because my car's really lowered. but since you're going to put it in a vert, then it's totally fine using 225/55/15

thanks ..... i've got stock spring setup. There are not many 225 / 55 's but did find Michelin has a good one (Pilot MXM) and it would give me the tread width I'm after and filll the well like stock. Expensive though
