Anyone here running Wide 18's ? 18x10 front 18x11.5+ rear? Offsets?
I am going to be throwing on nice beefy set of wheels on my FD. I'll also be running a coil over setup for a bit more clearance.... however, I am not too familiar with what offsets. I'm going to do some digging around but I was wondering if anyone here had a similar setup.
18x10 Front 285/40/18
18x11.5 Rear 335/30/18 or 335/35/18 depending on what i find
Not sure what offsets I'll need to use... also, I'll be rolling the front fenders and adding flares to the rear. I may just end up going with wide fenders in the front to save the trouble.
Positive input is appreciated.
Thanks

Those are about the sizes that Damian runs on his race car. Search for him and you'll find your answer.
I think that you need 50mm to fit 18x10's and 285's, so use that as the baseline for the inside clearance and adjust it down to fit the wider wheels and tires in the back.

Thanks c00lduke, what do you run in the front?
According to damian's thread - he uses a 7" backspacing?

Seems they fit well.
For some reason I'm not a huge fan of the rear flares, but it's my only option to run the wheels I want. The car just doesn't look as good to me.. looks buldgy in the rear, makes the front look funny. Oh well, can't have my cake and eat it too =(

I am just going to go 18x12 and use Pettit's - pretty much same front/rear as Damian - I already had the idea in my head, didn't know till today that he had already done it. He has the same wheels too... CCW Classics, black, stepped lip. So It'll be
18x10 Front, 18X12 (he uses 12.5?) rear, pettit rear flares, shine auto front fenders, burnout front end.

18x10 +50 offset with a 285/30r18 fits in front with a mildly massaged front fender.
I love those Pettit rear flares / overfenders when people use them with a beefy wide wheel and a 315 or 335 tire!!!!!!!!!! so sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!!!
