The G-Force R1As are great, but once you try Hoosier R3S03 (track) or A3S03 for autocross, believe me--you won't want any other racing tires!

You do know that BFG has pulled out of the sports car racing market...their focus is now on import drag racing. You're getting the G-Force R1s cheap because Tire Rack bought all of BFG's G-Force stock. Because the R1s are no longer being minted, tire sizes will be limited.

As for Yokohamas.

I plan to to try the 255/40-17 AVS Intermediates on the track for few laps, just to see how they do...before I swap to my Hoosier R3S03s.

Yes! AVS are great, but I went with Aegis LS4s. They were claimed to have been rated #1 in Consumer Reports for passenger car tires.

Consumer Reports? What do they know about tires? I thought they were experts in rating washers and dryers and such?
