air inlets/scoops for brake cooling ducts

I'm wondering what folks are using for air inlets for their brake cooling ducts? I've seen John Magnuson's excellent custom ducts on one of the brake threads, but would like to see what others have done. Is there anything off-the-shelf that will fit in the R1 lip, or is this purely a custom fabrication?

Many thanks,
Ken

I couldn't find anything off-the-shelf. I bought the basic 3x6" plastic duct with offset 3" outlet. I cut and molded it to the appropriate shape with a dremel tool and a heat gun. You can alsomake the R1 lip openings larger by softening them up with the heat gun and then changing their shape. Be careful not to burn it though.

Its weird how the fd does come with brake ducts, at least i couldnt find it on my 93 base model. But the TII comes with decent size brake ducts from the factory.
