Arrow 9-1/2 wheel - lowest offset possible for FD rear?

like the tittle says what is the lowest possible offset for a 9-1/2" wheel to fit in the rear of a FD, if possible a offset with stretched tires and rolled fenders, thanks.

thanks for the reply, i have a +35 with a 275/35 tire and it rubs a little i was thinking that with a stretched tire and rolled fenders maybe i could fit a +22, what do you think?

I think mounting a +22 offset wheel is a bad idea for several reasons. I sincerely doubt that will work, unless you are mounting a 235-width tire on it...

I do not know what offset will work for you(9.5) but one thing i do know is you can fit a 18x10.5 with a 285/30/r18 out back with rolling your fenders.

Way too low. You CAN go slightly lower but +40 should be considered the real world minimum up front.

When you get into stretched tire realm it's just too variable and relative. You won't get the answers you're looking for here. Thats' something you have to test in real time on your real vehicle. use your local stretch tire professionals to advise you of that.

ARD- my local stretch pro and all his wheels are las vegas now.
rynberg- thats also what 5zigen recomends 8-1/2+38 up front, they recomend 9-1/2+45 for the back the thing is that when i ordered my rear wheels from a friend that works at a tire shop i told him i wanted +45 but he brought me +35 and i ended up keeping them and i really like the way they look not too sunk in so i want to have the same look in the front and since i got away with +35 in the rear (10mm from recomended 45) i was hoping i could do the same in the front getting a 8-1/2 +30 (8mm from recomended 38).

If you are still looking...

I have 17x9.5 +43 offset with 275/40 tires. These tires are at least a 1/2" taller than stock and 285/35 would fit better.

In conclusion, I found that any less offset would cause the tire sidewall to touch the fenders during hard cornering.

I often wonder if I could manage 315's in the rear...
