'88 Vert, 17x7 wheels, 215/45/17 in front, what size in back?

I recently purchased some 17x7 rims for my '88 Vert with +40mm offset and I am about to purchase some tires. Since these rims are a bit narrow, I'm considering running wider tires in the back to fill the wheel wells a little better. I plan on going with 215/45/17 Yokohama AVS ES100 in front. Is there any benefit to running a wider tire in back? If so, what size... 225/45/17, 235/40/17, 235/45/17? Or, should I just run 215/45/17 all around? I searched and looked through about 100 threads, but couldn't find a definitive answer. Is 215/45/17 the best setup in front? 205/50/17's also seem like they would fit and would give me a little more clearance. I'm currently running 205/55/16's on 16x7 TII rims all around. This car is only used for top-down, weekend driving....nothing too aggressive.

At most a 225/45/17 is what you should run on that 7". But if rotating is important than do the 215. Not much of a difference in width.

Thanks for the reply. I think I'll stick with the 215's all around.
