5 Zigen/Black Racing rim weights (FN01R & PRO N1)
Hi guys,
I was just wondering if anyone here has these rims and can comment on the added weight over the stock rims. I want to get some 17x8 (front and 17x9 (rear), and I probably going to get them from www.wheelmax.com
I wanted to get the Black Racing PRO-N1 in bronze, but I saw on a site that they weighed 20 lbs. The FN01R weighs a little less but I dont like them, because they look almost like the stock rims. I'm trying to find the best compromise between wheel weight and cost. I really want a set of Advan RGs or TC II's but they are a lil to expensive.
But anyways, my main concern is the weight of the PRO-N1s (which I like). I'm pretty sure that the 20lb rim will affect acceleration and maybe handling. But will it be noticeable? for example would the heavy rims raise my 1/4 mile times by .5 seconds? (or something like that)
TIA

We have better pricing than wheelmax on 5Zigen if yu're interested.
The weight on the FN01RC is aroud 17lbs. That is the way to go. The Pro N1 is an ok wheel, the FN is much better.
Later, Rishie
Contact me for pricing.
