3rd Gen Rims for Sale

Hey everybody, you probably me from my 3 million questions about FD rims. Well I've decided I'm just going to go with Volk TE-37's, so I am selling the FD rims I bought. I paid $451 with shipping for them. I am selling them for 400+shipping, they weren't even ever mounted on my car, so I am losing money here, but I just want to sell them quick. They are in great condition. A little nick or ding here or there but thats it.

If anybody is interested please email me at OnlyNDrms@www.com or IM me at the AIM account listed in the sig. Thanks.

Hey, what kind of prices/sizes/tires are you looking for as far as the TE37's go? I am organizing a group buy and would love to get you involved. We have a good price going on 17 X 8.5/9.5 of around $445 per rim and just a bit more for 18's (which I am going to get.) Get in touch with me and if you find a better price, let me know so we can get a better price. BTW, Bacon is also going to get in on the buy so we have three including you.

Tnanks!

I am going to be getting 16x8's. Do I have to get 17x8.5's or 9.5's to get in this deal? Because if so I'll have to look elsewhere. I'd imagine if you can get 17x8.5's for $445 per rim, then the 16x8's will be closer to, if not under $400 per rim. I don't think my FC would even handle 17x9.5's without spacers and/or fender rolling.

SpeedRacer,
That's a strange "upgrade". Why not go with 17X9's all the way around?

why is that a strange upgrade? Thats 1" larger diameter, and 1.5" wider than the stock rim...thats a pretty damn decent upgrade for me. 17x9's won't even fit up front. And in the rear I'd probably have rubbing problems. And I'd lose a lot too acceleration. Not good for auto-x. Plus 16x8's are lighter and cheaper, although price had NOTHING to do with my decision.

You can get any size and color you want but any color (other than white or bronze) is $30 extra per wheel and a special order item (may take up to three months). I will check on the price for you tomorrow or you can call Glen @ 818.998.6005 and tell him it is in regards to the RX7forum.com group buy. He is amazingly knowledgable and friendly.

I can wait for you. Bacon is supposed to get back from vermont on the 10th so we can talk to him then. The more people the better so I can buy right now or wait 2 weeks. Just keep me posted by private message or in the group buy section as to what your time frame is and we will work from there. Target time is within two weeks but keep in mind that these rims are in high demand and have to be imported from Japan. This means that there may or may not be a waiting period so the sooner we get it together the better.
