2nd gen wheel and tire width questions (aftermarket)

I have decided to go with 16 by 8" front and 16 by 10" on the rear as far as rim size. What light weight rims could I get in this size that are affordable? Also, would I need wheel spacers and what size tires coulg I get to fit on there? What size offset? What would fit in 17" anyway?

You should not go over 9.5" in the rear and would not suggest running those tires unless you want to be stuck running drag radials and getting adjustable coilovers, cause your **** will be raked like a mo' fo'.

If you're looking for a staggered fitment your bottleneck is going to be available tire sizes in the 16". If you go 17" you'd have a lot better luck with finding what you're looking for.

Rim size to run is 8" front and 9 - 9.5 rear. In a 17", you go 225/45 front and 255/40 rear. If you stagger an 18 in the rear, you can run up to a 265/35/18. That's what I'm doing with my Enkei RP01's. And I suggest you do the same if you're looking for a low budget, lightweight wheel setup to get maximum fitment.

17,8 +38
18,9.5 + 38.

There is only one set left and this will run you $785.00 shipped within the US.

There are no more 17,9's so that's out of the question.

Then tires would run around $675.00 with shipping and mounted. So just put the two numbers together and you got your total. $1460.00.

There's also the STern Face I6S 17,8 and 17,9, this is a Japanese wheel and would run around $850.00 shipped for the wheels. Tires would be slightly less, cause we're running the 17 in the rear.
