Will the 88 GXL's electronically adjustable strut fit on an 87 TII?

Why???

Stock sucks!
Repeat.

Almost any aftermarket upgrade shocks will blow away anything that came stock on the cars.

But are they interchangable i would like to know if aftermarket TII stuff fits gxl
