235/40/17 in front on FC?
IM thinking of using 235/40/17 in front on the FC.
right now I have 225/50/16 A032R.
Im going to be changing my wheels to 17 and the smallest A032R in 17
is 235/40
I have coil over's and camber/caster plates
what size off set will I need in the front.
and what off set will in need in the rear
for 255/40/17
Thanks

This won't help much, but it should boost your confidence in your choice. Some of my buddies used to run with 235/45R17 and 265/40R17 front and rear respectively. The wheels were (front)8" and (rear)9" but I never knew the offsets. There was no rubbing however. The fenders weren't pulled, but might have been rolled a bit. The point is that it can be done. I have a feeling you already know this so I'll stop here.
BTW, I have the A032R's as well. Well, just the fronts. Damn! Those are some good tires. They stick like glue even in heavy downpours. I can hardly wait for autoX sessions to start up again in January. The Slush Series at Bremerton for all of you NW people. See y'all there.

there is a lot of variables, its almost like the "how much HP can i make with these mods....."
It all depends on a number of things the few that come to mind are
a) how much front camber you run
b) your ride height
c) your front spring rates
d) your rim offset
Now, i can put 235/45ZR17's up front and hit the guards as i pull into the driveway with the factory shocks and KING lowered springs in, but replace that set up with my race Koni's and 500lb springs and not even a heard of elephants sitting on the front of the car would get the guards anywhere near the tyres. see what i mean????

my car has
ground control coil over kit ( I belive it has the 325 springs in the front )spring pic
ground control caster/ camber plates
takiko 5 way adjustables
I am looking for the right offset so I can run the Advan A032R
235/40/17 in the front
and the right offset to run
255/40/17 or 265/40/17 in the rear.
Im going to be ordering wheels next week I think the Racing Hart CP035 or Advan AVS 5
I run 225/50/16 A032R in front right now with no rubbing.
