19" alloy wheel fitment

19x7.5 et45 5stud 114pcd Boss XTS alloys

Will these fit onto my 1994 RX7? They come with 215/35r19 tyres, but will these be ok, or shall i change them?

yeh they are, but the design is really good. If they can fit without major mods then I will put them on

Reducing your car's handling performance just because "the design is really good" is a pretty ****-poor way of thinking.......especially since there are many great looking wheels that will actually IMPROVE handling.

BTW, you think the wheels look good -- how good will those skinny things look mounted on the car? The answer is -- not very.

EDIT: I just looked those wheels up -- they are a direct rip-off of the SSR GT-1, which is a quality wheel available in proper sizes/offsets for an FD (or until recently, anyway).

i know what your saying, but theyre only a temporary replacement as i am getting them cheap. They'll go onto my other car when i get some better wheels for the rx7. So everything else aside, will they fit and what will i need to do to make them fit?

dont do anything to make them fit! get the proper size. there is nothing worse than to modify a car for something that shouldnt go on it in the first place.

just by looking at the size....19x7.5 with a 45 offset....its easy to tell. all you need to do is look around at the sizes that people have put on their cars already or just ask someone who knows more about wheels and the fitments. if you do that, you will notice that no one will put skinnier wheels on their car.

not only will you be making your car handle worse, but you will also slow the car down. You will get less traction from a start, and will have less acceleration do to much much much more rotational mass at the wheels. Dont do it just because you think it will look "cool"
