Alignment? Caster could be way off.

10.5 wide with +25mm offset upfront? jeez...

I know that being stanced is an art form (wide wheels, low offsets and slammed) and only those guys can tell you whats possible. With that being said, I would love a ride in one of those truly stanced cars so I could checkout the ride quality for myself. Because honestly, I have my doubts about those setups.

Without getting into an argument with the fitment guys, as Montego is hinting at above you aren't really running sizes ideal for good fitment with no rubbing issues. You are running wheels that are 2.5" wider than stock, with an offset 1" further outboard than stock. So yea, its going to rub. Your options are wide fenders, or stretching tires and negative camber.

(Not to plug myself, but I actually have a set of 20mm wide fenders from Shine that look OEM that I will be posting for sale soon, if you/anyone is interested).

well believe it or not its not really rubbing on the fenders. they are already kinda hacked and rolled. may i add that i purchased the car this way and honestly the ride quality isnt horrible. ill take pictures when i get home so its easy to explain.

So you're saying it rubs the front support where the headlight mounts?

This is on the passenger side. You can see where the tire is rubbing on the metal

Get an alignment and make your caster as negative as possible.

Man, so many things wrong with that wheel and tire fitment.

I understand you bought the car that way..... does XXR offer the same style/finish wheel in a size and offset that will fit properly on the front of the FD? Ie 18x10 +50, 18x9.5 +38 etc.

Tires are too tall. You'll need 35

255/35 would be equivalent to the OEM tire size diameter.

245/40 outside diameter is 17.5mm larger. That means there is a 8.75mm difference in clearance to that support. That is not substantial enough to justify the tire being too big.

And also, considering that the tire is stretched, you need to take in to account that the outside diameter has been manipulated to be slightly smaller.

Again, to the OP, as I've stated twice already, get an alignment and your caster set to be more negative.

Tire height will help, but really, the problem is the wheels. With that width and offset, there's a lot of "swing" when you turn the wheel, because it's rotating further from the axis of the upright. I don't see camber fixing that.

I didn't say camber.

Caster will make a larger difference.
