17x10 285/40/17 with a offset of 45

Did A search but want to be sure, would this set up fit on the rear of a FD with standed suspension.

You are REALLY increasing your final drive ratio with tire diameters that large. That tire size is a full inch larger in diameter than stock.

That said, it's difficult to tell if you will fit without rubbing or not. Running a 275/40 17 is much more common and should work at that offset. Depending on your actual wheel width, you may need aftermarket trailing arms.

Should fit, but its detrimentally tall... i'd suggest installing a lower final drive ratio to help compensate.

i'd really consider 275/40 the edge of the envelope.

the final drive rations in the diff has been done so that should be ok, il get the arches rolled out to if i have to. what would the chances of the trailing arms rubbing be.

You'll be closer to the fender lip than the trailing arm... but it'll probably be down to the actual brand of tire if it rubs.
