the coolant smells of gas the level drops some when it ran it aparently was over heating before the guy parked it there is a lot of white smoke when it runs and it smell sweat now. Oya the trans is out it haws bad rust under the car. The inside might was well be gutted and the out side is beat to hell and back so looks like my money will be going to a different car. If any one know of a good second gen rx-7 around let me know. I really just want one with most of the parts and ok body with little to no rust dents ok but hopefully no need to replace panels. I have a b13TT to put in so motor does not matter and I plan on getting i high end ford 6 or 5 speed trans I don't care if it has seats or not I will be putting new ones in any way I have a daily driver and just really want a good 7 to rebuild the way I want and make it pull high 9 low 10s and be street legal when I get one I will make a running post with pics of its procreation to a ricer killer. At the moment it will be a budget project but if I get my teck job tomorrow that I am interviewing for then it will not be so budget but what other choose do I have working at Kroger’s. If I don’t get that one if any one knows of a good place looking for pc tecks or some one that know electronics going to school for a double EE so I have my teck classes be hind me so.

You can always yank your FI fuses for a quick fix. And Mazdatrix has an anti-flooding thinga-ma-chongas somewhere on their site.

Regardless both are temp fixes and as stated above you'll need a new engine.
Dealing with flooding and won't start sucks hardcore. I've been there, it's irratating and aggravating and just pushes you one step closer back into the world of pistons where you don't have to worry about that crap and it always starts.

I have a 1986 RX7 and it sits forever in my drive and when I do start it up it smokes white and smells sweet. If it wont start up right off I put a little brake fluid in the gas tank. It fires right up and the white smoke, and I mean a lot of white smoke disapears and clears up in time. The smoke is because of bad seals and moisture in the fuel. from condesation. All the above is assuming that you have not ran the car hot if you have, still try the above. My daughter's first car and she abused it to no end, but couldn't blow it up. Good Luck, "Flywheel"
