i was just thinkin it would be awesome to have an rx meet here in tulsa.. let me know what you guys think. what days months work for everyone. maybe we could get some of our texas brothers and sisters to join us.

 

Depending on date/location, I might be able to join in. Might even get a few of the other local rotorheads to come out......
We used to meet weekly in tulsa, but the downtown rebuild fiasco ruined it for most of us.

 

I was thinking when it warms up a bit seeing as how there is snow on the road. But ya.. maybe a cookout/cruise. Heck even if everyone still wanted to do a weekly thing we could meet up by the Qt at 71st and riverside in that big church parkinglot and hit up buffalo wild wings or something. there is a wonderful shoping/food mall area right across the river. ive heard that there was a Rx meet that happend every wednesday. unfortunately i never had the pleasure of going. But Wednesday might be a good day for a weekly meet....say around
6-7ish. but thats my thought anyways. if we get together we can plan a Big Cookout for spring.

 

Yeah, for about 3-4 years, we met every wed at mcnellies in downtown. BOK center construction, street rebuilding, and parking ***** killed it.
One of the locals is rather handy on the BBQ grill.
There also used to be an annual Tulsa Rotary BBQ, but it's been a couple years since the last one was attempted....

 

Just got my FC and I'm completely down for something like this! It's have to be sometime mid march (when I get back from Iraq) or later though for me.... Only rotor heads I know in person are me and one buddy that I got hooked on 'em. :P

March 19. thats a saturday. we can start around 10-12 in the morning...go till when ever. let me know if that works for everyone.. i want as many people as possible so i want your input..

anything going on this weekend in tulsa? heard we got rain friday but supposed to be gone by sat.....i was also thinking i saw the post about rotary bar b q in the past..anyvbody down for maybe a get together at chandler park or la fortune park for a bar b q/get to know each other eat & greet? maybe in the next couple weeks?

 

Cory has something for us scheduled for the 19th of march (Saturday), not sure what all is planned.

oh! ok awesome cory seems like a really good guy. was really friendly and down to earth. didnt get to make the QT meet...had church and i try not to miss it. but ill for sure be ready for the next thing going! have a great weekend everyone!

 

I'm so down for a meet. I haven't done anything car related in a long time.

 

I will get up there to meet with everyone as soon as my car gets out of the bodyshop and I get off of working 7 days a week

 

I may be pushing the meet back to sunday the 20th instead.. seems there are a few people that cant get away on saturday.. will this still work
