I'll try to pass this around even more.
I got a ticket for that about a year ago in Arlington....I got it repealed, but I still paid over $100 in court fees.

this law serves a purpose, to identify a car. this is important and should stay law. having a front plate can help capture dangerous criminals.
the problem here is not the statute (law), but the manner in which it is enforced. it seems that this law is only inforced at an officers convience. for any law to exist it must be strictly enforced, and this one is clearly not.
perhaps it would be best to just enfoce the law during state inspection. the problem with that is dealer and auto makers would have go back and fix some of the cars with out brackets for front plates. this will cost them lots of money, and would be bad for business, so thats not likely to ever happen.
