Sevens Day 2013 - July 7th 2013
If you missed our 7/7 event last year you missed a ton of fun, food and rotary friends. Come on out and join us again down on the bayou for a great afternoon.
The event will start around 1PM. However we will have a caravan from Houston down to Charles and Kristi's place on the bayou.
Once again the grill will be cooking burgers and hot dogs and more.... You can fish from the creek that runs behind the house, we will have plenty of hands so if you want to work on your rotary project bring your tools and parts, just don't leave a mess!
We will have plenty of coolers on hand, but it is a BYOD (bring your own drinks) event. There is a corner store nearby if you need ice or forget to stock up before the drive down.
Feel free to bring chips, snacks or desserts (just let us know what you are bringing).
We DO need an accurate headcount so we do not over or under purchase food so please only RSVP if you can actually make it to the event.
if you have any questions, please ask them here.
Where: Oyster Creek, Texas (about 50 miles south of Pearland)
When: 1PM Sunday the 7th -- Caravan will meet at 11:30-45 and depart at NOON!!

Anyone that is sticking around until dark will get a small fire works display, small in the number of shells. But they are the largest legally bought. Some people understand this meaning

And that sucks about your truck getting broke into. I bet you need an s4 key but ill bring mine by and try some time.
Also, I wonder if the mazda dealer or a locksmith can cut the key using the vin.

Thank to Chuck and his wife for hosting the event. Was good to get to meet some new rotor heads and see some familiar faces and cars.
Here is my new joke..
How many rotor heads does it take to change an alternator?
Answer: 10
One to change the alternator
Nine to critique the mechanic

Thanks to everyone that showed up, we had a great event. If you didn't make it there's always next year or maybe a 8 owner would like to start a 8 on 8 BBQ.
Trying to chunk fireworks at Scott in a kayak was some good times, it was like depth charges. We should have had Larry there with his navy exsperience I bet we could have won. You sunk my battle kayak.
Pictures to follow, some of you didn't know I had my game cam in a tree taking pictures all day lets see what good pics I can post.

8/8 doesn't happen on a weekend until 2015.
7/7 doesn't happen on a weekend again until 2018.
Looks like we might have to improvise with weekday events for a couple of years or have belated events.
