I have registered, and hope to make the trip. The outragious cost of fuel may keep me from being able to get there.

I really would like to be at the BBQ with you guys on Saturday but unfortunately I can't make it that day due to prior commitments with the wife. There will be an autox at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday that I'm attending and hopefully some of you other rotary guys can stay in town for that. I encourage you to pre-register if you plan to enter as it's cheaper. TMS is less than 30 minutes from Arlington. All the info on the site below:

Bbq Update - T-shirt Order Deadline
The deadline for ordering t-shirts is this MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 19!!
I must have your order by 7 pm on Monday in order to have your shirt available to pass out at the BBQ on Saturday.
Click on my signature and choose the t-shirt link on the left column to order your shirt.
If you need a size 2XL, type that in the comments section and I will change the size when placing the order.
If you don't have a paypal account and you would like to buy a shirt, PM me and we'll work something out.

Well now that I've gotten my dad excited about the BBQ, I have a question:
Is there anywhere nearby to park a motorhome and trailer that is a few feet longer than an 18-wheeler? I understand it probably won't work in the park itself, but is there a big parking lot within a few miles we could park the thing in? Preferably relatively close since one car isn't DOT legal in ANY sense...
If there is you'll need to up my rotary-powered car count to 2.

Hell yea......lol......no, I'm referring to all the luv between you and a certain "finite" bass....
There's got to be several huge parking lots in that area....heck, there's a school off of North Davis you could use that is above I-30....

Too bad blake is too big a pansy to come up.
Of course, if we are coming in the motorhome, there's room for stowaways...
If the BBQ site wasn't giving me a 404 error I'd look at the map, but if anybody familiar with the area knows of a good place to park let me know.
Oh, and the racecar runs on 87. With Lucas semi-synthetic (no stinkums).

I reiterate CT - YOU SUCK!! Why don't you talk to Shari (ALWAZL8)? I know she's got a room and no one is staying with her. Perhaps it would be easier on your pocketbook to split one night? Or you can drive up the morning and home that night. Do what you gotta do because YOU HAVE TO COME!!! No excuses. If you don't come your one and only friend from DFW will disown you.
