Also, what kind of racecar and how far is 'gone' is it? aka-tube chasis, pp engine, ect... Chris is, so far, driving one of his spec cars up. Of which I know is not kosher. Point is, do you HAVE to have it on a trailer? I'm sure we can make it work either way. The racecar guys represent what made the RX7 famous. It would be good to share stories and tech info with the "younger" crowd.
So, what are we going to be doing Saturday night? Where's the great dance places?

its fully caged, 2 reasons I do not like driving it on the street: one of the roll bars runs really close to my head, its got padding on it, but I do smack into it when I am driving it and even with my helmet on it still raddles my head, this is because of the seat. two the fuel cell dose not hold very much.
for some reason I thought someone was going to set this thing up at like a BBQ place

The BBQ is going to be catered. With 102+ people and 60+ cars, I don't think a local BBQ joint could hold us. There will also be car goodies and awards to be given away throughout the day.
As for room for a trailer, I have an idea. There probably won't be room near the rotaries for the trailer, but you can park that in another lot and drive the very short (I'm talking long driveway length) road to the rotary lot and park your beast there.
The great dance places are mostly in Dallas. There will be people from all over the metroplex there so ask around while you're mingling. There are some bars/pubs close by in Arlington, there's downtown FW and downtown Dallas (each about a 30 min drive from the sponsored hotel) and then there's Addison. I haven't arranged any night plans since we have such a diverse group, but I'm sure we'll all be wanting to do something that night.
There's information posted regarding racing on Friday night. There are a couple legal places around town, as well as illegal. I'll post as much information as I can and let you guys make educated decisions for your activities that night. NOTE FOR MODS: I AM NOT ENDORSING ILLEGAL STREET RACING.
I want to thank all of you who are posting information about the caravans. That is a great idea and I will post links to your site on the other forums so everyone will know.
A lot of hard work has been put into this BBQ so I hope you can all make it and enjoy it. If it's a success, I'll do my best to make this an annual event.

Yes. We have the parking lot reserved as well as the pavilion, but the lot is only so big. We were already going to have the non-rotary vehicles park in a different lot (still within walking distance) to ensure all the rotaries have room. There will be a couple people greeting everyone and directing traffic when you first arrive.
