pick n pull report
Was in the yard off Walton Walker. A little more detail than what you'll find on their web site.
88 Red Vert - Engine gone, dash gone, trunk plastics gone. Most everything else is there.
87 Blue/Silver coup - Engine still there, just odds and ends missing.
'79 White (not mentioned on their web site, located near the Vert)- Engine including the fabled Thermo reactor is there. Onlly thing of note I saw missing was the front bumper.

Just got back from there. They have 2 S4s, one red vert and the other GXL(?) Red vert has one good fender, RF, the other is bent pretty good on the lower portion that attaches to the bumper. Looked repairable. Both have their interiors pretty much gone, the vert had seats and that was about it. Vert had the aero mirros aswell.
The 79 they have was orginally a Spark Yellow that was painted gold, then white. Has all black interior, carpet looked in pretty good shape and useable. Drive seat was pretty much imaculate other than being dirty, not a rip/tear in it. Passenger side not so good. I got half the stock stereo, the equalizer bit was gone, and the stereo surroun. Steering colum plasitc is black and perfect, had to remove it but it's sitting in the back and the screws are in the ash tray for whomever may need. it.
As for the engine, all there and complete other than the distributor which I took but didn't buy as they wanted 60 bucks for the damn thing. . Its inside for whomever is interested but be warned, prolly no good as I dumpe half a cup of water out of it. I'll prolly end up getting a few other bits off the engine as my projects comes along. Like Hozz said, still has its reactor, even has the bit I need from the reactor to where the 'cat' would be but I didn't have to tools to get it out. Exhaust is there but has had the 'cat' cut out, must be a junkyard rule as none of the cars there had them.

I don't go to PnP any more because they want too much for parts now, and everything is computerized so that you can't dicker. They charge what the computer says, that's it. $60 for a points dizzy? I'll sell you mine for $50.
I once tried to buy an S4 intake from them. They want $25 for each part, upper, lower, and plenum, not to mention the throttle body. They kept it. I like my favorite yard, Awesome Auto Salvage. They're independent, not a chain, and will deal. They usually just charge for big stuff, and tack on $5 or $10 for "misc."
How was the dash in that SA?

I figured I was gonna get screwed when it was 2 bucks just to go look. They wanted 15 for the radio and I said to the guy 'look, it's 30 years old and prolly won't work.' He said I could exchange it if it didn't, lol. Was gonna get a the dimmer switch too just cause but 5 bucks, nah.
The dash pad itself was alright I suppose, had a medium sized crack in the center and I think that was it. Sombody converted it to all black interior, looks like they wanted to make a LE out of it or something.
