I would be down for meeting up as soon as I get mine rebuilt. Prolly a few months out. I am taking this opportunity to do several things at once. Porting engine, dual oil coolers, AI, ditching the power steering and whatever else I find needs to be changed...

Same here. Saving up cash for a new motor so I can tear into my current one without worrying that my car will never run again. I probably won't get it done until this winter some time though due to work. Until then, I'll just burn a ton of oil and keep dumping it in :S

This sunday the 4th there is a SCCA autocross in Tulsa at the fair grounds center of the horse track. if your not registerd it $35 to race. If your not going to race it's free to come and watch

Hopefully my project will really take off in a few months. There's a chance I might end up working out at Ft. Sill for a year or so. That would pay for all my upgrades in just a couple of months :P

Update:
The Vert should be ready to go by the end of Spring. All I need to build the engine is a good condition s5 NA rear iron (not ported) if anyone has one let me know and I need to order more side seals and apex springs. The GXL is running great but the gauge cluster is out for an LED upgrade. All of the dash plastic for the gauge surround is GONE as in crumbled to pieces.

I agree. I am closer to getting mine back on the road. Started the fresh rebuild yesterday but I am having trouble keeping it running. I think it is just being bitchy... Hopefully here in a week or so I will be putting miles on it.

I was gonna be at that event with my FC, but I started rebuilding the engine and upgrading the suspension. So I'm going to miss it. It's August 1st(if you don't wanna click on the link)

Yeah. My exhaust is shot so I went ahead and decided to start my build early. I'm still going to hang out though. Would rather go to a bit of a show with a bunch of nismo guys rather than a Honda meet.

alright guys, after a year of sitting in the garage the FD has finally been sent off to a shop to be rebuilt. A streetport is in order, as well as putting on some parts I have had in my garage for a while. Hopefully, after this, my car will actually be somewhat reliable!!
