Spotted near N.O.: MB FD
So, my father, my girlfriend, and I were on the way home from NOMA at about 2:30 while on I-10. At the Clearview exit (Exit 220, IIRC) a beautiful Montego Blue FD was sitting there waiting to get off at Clearview. It was extraordinarily clean and the chrome stockers were *SHINY*.
At first, I just saw the figure through another car's tinted window, but I couldn't really tell that it was an FD. I just saw that it was sleek. After we passed the cockblocker in the middle lane, I saw what it was. Man, was it sweet.
So, if you are on here or if any of you guys know who it was, I just wanted to say that you have a beautiful car, man. I doubt you would have noticed, but we were in my dad's white STi with tinted windows doing about 85 in the far left lane. My girlfriend had no ******* clue what I was talking about, but my dad was like, "Man, the first third gen. I drove was a montego blue. It was an automatic, though..."

What day? AM/PM?
Doubt it was me if PM. I save it for night time when cooler and less traffic (ie. good time to play with STI or whatever else may bite).
Never seen another MBM in NOLA with polished wheels (to be replaced soon), much less as well kept as mine. All orignal paint/interior. See link, http://ourworld.cs.com/_ht_a/talvendi/id194.htm
You seem to miss all the meets. We're sorting together a tuning session at 454dyno soon.

Jack you sound like Sam Malone from Cheers when he was supposed to sell his Vette. Buyers had to answers questions cause he wanted them to be as **** as he was. "Its 12:00 in the miday the sun is out and your at the supermarket you A) wait till you get a spot close to the door, B) Grab the 1st spot available C) park far away ?
Guy answers....Sam blows up and says "You never take a Corvette out in the hot sun in the middle of the day what are you stupid?"

Well, my Cheer's trivia isn't that great but Sam was right.
What the use driving around in daytime traffic (no fun) so some uninsured moron can hit me. Half of my 70K miles were probably driven after midnight. I got the chance to stretch the car's legs Friday night when 350z tried a ricer flyby - nothing like the joy of wide open interstate.
Now get back to work, Art, you're almost there man.

I dont know what worse working on a black R1 in the Louisiana heat or driving in one with no A/C. I feel like I 've been assembling a puzzle and that I finally got all the corners started.

It was about 2:30 pm. The Clearview exit on I-10; coming from New Orleans. Exit 228.
I have yet to make a meet with you guys. My motor is shot right now, and something always seems to come up on the days that you guys have meets.

I believe the car you saw was Marshall's new FD. He used to have a red T2 and has been to a number of our meets. He just picked up the FD a couple of months ago and it does have chrome stockers as well.

Mb Fd
Yeah, it was either Marshal or me. Marshal and I both have MB FD's and we were both by clearview around that time. Twin cars from the outside. I have a dual RB exhaust, where he has a single greddy I believe.

Any of you guys work at a shop or visited someone at a shop on Hickory Ave (off of clearview) last sunday? I was down there working on my car and heard one and only saw a rear bumper as it passed. It was a darker color, i wanna say it had some vinyl flames on it... Anyways, thought it would be funny to find out if it was someone on the forum.
