Official 2007 Oklahoma BBQ Thread - June 2007
Oklahoma Rotary BBQ 2007
Tentative location and time: Haikey Creek Park* June 9th

This year the BBQ has some new organizers. We're trying our best to bring something new to the table. Here are some possible activities:

small rally to the BBQ location
picture scavenger hunt on the way to Tulsa
piston throw
Honda torture test

*Hopefully we can take over the John Wetsel Sheriff's Training Track in OKC, but this is not guaranteed yet.

Let us know what you thought of the past BBQs and anything you think might help.

Yea it sounds fun, and I'll definitely try to make it. I'm still a bit miffed that I wasn't able to make it to the Fall BBQ in TX, but I think my excuse was valid.

The piston throw would be more like shotput. The farthest thrown piston would win a prize.

OzzMan, I understand your situation. You gotta go where the money is. As Oral Roberts was once quoted "It takes money to do things". Without money, it gets rather difficult to do things.

Haikey Creek Park is in Tulsa right? but where is it at in Tulsa?

I'd love to come if I can even though I'm fairly new to the RX7 as well

Actually teh Sherriff's Training Track in OKC has been reserved for the 2nd of June. I think Rotary Inspired has more information on this...
