Hey guys, I'm on a quest to get a meet started here in Northwest Arkansas. I've already started a thread on RX8club to hopefully peak more interest in getting this event going. I am very determined to get a regular Rotary Meet going. But, I'm going to need help to get this rolling. I'm not limiting this to just Arkansas members, anyone from the surrounding states are more than welcome to input any ideas, feedback and attended! But, none of this can be started unless there is interest from you, my fellow rotary heads! So, please put forth some ideas, where you would like it to be, when it should take place, ECT... Feel free to contact me via pm with any concerns.

I know you're out there! I'm thinking maybe early November meet / Boston Mountain Loop cruise.

 

Alright! I've been talking to some of the members over at RX8club about starting a rotary meet here in Northwest Arkansas. It ended in success with a small meet with the members I had been discussing it with. I was unable to join then due to an emergency at work. They met up and cruised down HWY 71. We are wanting to start a monthly meet and cruise. The next meet details are to be announced as of right now. I know there a few members here in the area and we would like you to join us and help this grow! Here is a link to the thread on RX8club to keep updated. I will be keeping this thread updated with the meet details as well as convey any ideas you my have to the members on RX8club. I hope to hear from you soon!

They will more than likely be in Fayetteville.

 

Ok, we are shooting for November 23rd or 24th for the next meet, weather permitting. I will unfortunately not be able to attend. But, I encourage any one that reads this to attend the next meet! Help this grow! Remember that this ISN'T limited to members in Arkansas. I know Oklahoma has a decent RX population, so come on over!

I will keep you all informed as details are finalized and feel free to put in your two cents.

I'll let you know for sure. I haven't heard from the rx8 guys in a while but, i would like to get a meet in before Xmas. Also, it's nice to see to on the forum!

 

As it stands right now the next meet is going to be on Saturday the 8th. We are going to meet at the Promenade mall in Rogers, AR at 2:00pm. After the meet we will be taking a cruise out to Beaver Lake via Hwy12. Meet time is still pending but I will finalize all info asap.

Today is the day! Once again the meet is being held at the small parking lot in front of Target in Rogers, AR across from the Promenade Mall. The meet starts at 2pm TODAY! I know there are plenty of you in and around Northwest Arkansas! Come on out and meet the other rotary heads in the area! I hope to see a lot of you there!

Had a great time at the meet/cruise yesterday. It was a small turn out, but it was alot of fun. Got to meet some great people! We'll start planning other on a whether permitting basis as it's going to start cooling off in the next few weeks. I'd like to get some of you here in on the action! I know people are reading this thread based on view count. As I've said before this isn't limited to member in Arkansas. Oklahoma, Missouri and anyone willing to drive to a meet are more than welcome! So, get in on the action and help this meet and community grow!

 

Anything planned for this year? I'd love to cruise up that way.

 

Me and a few of the local RX8 guys are trying to get something put together for the near future. I'll keep this thread updated with the information as plans get finalized. Where are you located?

Thanks for the info! I had no idea there was a Arkansas Rotary Club. As you can see I've been trying to get a group together up in this area for some time now.

 

no problem. i just found it about a month ago. there are a pretty decent amount of people in nwa central arkansas and toward hot springs. post that for the rx8 guys to join too.
