I was on the phone with him today. All it takes is 5 people with $350 and some wide open and a Dyno. We'll discuss it over some BBQ at the meet.

My wife suggests we cater some finger food bring some food like we did at the Christmas party. And bring some prepared dishes as well. I have a gas grill and we can grill, too. I want to have big coolers loaded with ice for water, soft drinks and BYOBs.
We'll have a "chalkboard" to discuss basic ECU tech, WBO2 data analysis using EXCEL and Q&A. We'll do some hands-on demos with P-FC Commander and Datalogit.
The real power mongers (who haven't already done so) should buy and bring their LM-1/XD-1 with their sensor bungs already welded in place and we can set those up.
I have WI-FI so bring your laptops.
I'll record this week's episode of "Pinks" on my DVR for the party.
I have a route for an excellent scenic drive that will include that section of Hwy 90 (future I-49) where we held Steve Kan street tuning power-pulls to 140 mph/8000 RPM all day and night long without cops interference.
We'll want to nail down the attendance soon so we can plan and prepare the food.
Directions
East Bankers: Go I-10 W and take I-310 S at the split in Kenner (the top of the I-310 bridge is 37 mi. to my house). Proceed to U.S. 90 West.
At Exit 210 go left to Houma on Hwy 182 South (10 miles to my house)
At the fifth traffic light, go right and then left at the Exxon at the next light. This "jog" is still Hwy 182, also called Barrow Street. Notice the small signs for the Houma/Terrebonne Civic Center. (2 miles to my house).
Go through six more lights on Hwy 182/Barrow St. The Houma Civic Center will be on the right.
Go right onto Civic Center Drive just after you pass the civic center.
Go left on Choctaw Drive.
Go right on Cheyennne Drive....... second house on the right at 402 Cheyenne Drive.

Does anybody from the new orleans area want to meet up with me and shawn and pick us up? I doubt my car will be running by then. That away it's on less piston, one less car to waste gas, and a chance for me to get to ride in a 7. Josh, Marshell, Ted, anyone want to meet up with us? What time shall we be there?

I'll post a meeting spot for everyone here in the N.O. area soon. Party time will most likely be for 11 am so we'll have to meet up by 10 pm in kenner or metairie.
Let's get this **** on !!! We are wayyyyyyyyy overdue for a meet.

Shawn is going to try and get his mom's legacy. To bad we can't take his dad's STI. He recently put a down pipe and access port on it. That thing is a **** load faster now.
Edit: Want to meet us guys at the same racetrack as last time?

That will work. We'll touch base with ya'll on the way out there.
Marky Mark......................11 a.m. should be a good time to get the grill fired up. I sure would like to see those V8 FD's. Also, Jack should have his big brake kit on his car. I should be in my new toy as well. Rx-7 sold today in Orlando.

Guys.............what about bringing down Steve Kan that day ??? It's an idea for those of you who want some tuning if you don't have the widebands, etc.... to do it yourself.
Only need 5 guys to get him to come down.
Josh
Marshall
Leonard
Jack
Mark
??????????????
It's up to ya'll.....................

This always happens...Just when I finish being sucked dry by School, Car, and GF , a tune session opportunity pops up....$350 is kind of high for me now...$200 is the most I can afford and that's pushing it!! Maybe if I can find Peter so I can pay Paul... Lets see where we can get the pricing down to see if I can be in or not...Well if anything maybe I can get somekind of basic things done (LIKE GETTING MY DAMN FAN TEMPS ADJUSTED)....I will be there (and if my car gives me grief I will bring my ECU at least)--hey that rhymes.

Crap man, Now I wish I would have my car running. If I didn't have insurance I probably would, it will be close though. The engine should be in with the sidedraft setup ten I need oilcooler, radiator, and oil pan. Man that's to much ****. lol Oh what should us young guys bring(Shawn and I)? To young for boose and our...his cooking skills aren't great. Anything we should pick up for the meet?

I don't think I'll need to tune with Steve at this point right now - I ordered a new engine wiring harness from Malloy Mazda; it's just time for a new one. When my Datalogit logging issue resolves with a bigger wire and a clean electrical signal and clean ground, I'll finish tuning for 16 psi - which is still Kan's numbers on that P row. Nonetheless, if Kan can be brought in....... that will be great.
Ted - glad ya got yer 7 sold and can't wait to see da "6"!
I'll be inviting two FD-LS1s, a VW R32 and a Carrera 4 with turbos www.prototechonline.com
Food: Cydney suggests drumettes, meatballs, pasta salad, jambalaya, little sandwiches, chips and dips.....
......but if we grill burgers and 'dogs and pounded-out marinated chicken breast, we can keep it simple with condiments, chips and dips and a big pasta salad.
What do you want to do???????

Recon might be +1 if, and ONLY if nashman is +1.
The gf said she will only come if Nashman brings his gf. (my girl and his girl are cousins) SO Marshall you need to bring Kelly.

Mark,
LMC3 will be +1. As to what to bring, I'm still living out of my upstairs with no kitchen, so I can't cook. Please make a suggestion for what to bring and it'll be there.
Ted,
I'm definitely in for the Steve Kahn tuning. Is 3 weeks enough lead time to get him here (assuming that we get 5 peeps)???
Cheers,
LMC3

I'm going to clear my schedule for april 30th so that me and my wife can go. I'll try to talk mattg into it as well as sonicrat so that would be a +4 if all goes well but you know these 7's. One minute they are up and running like champs and the next minute your rebuilding the engine
