Well you guys, it looks like I mightbe getting stiffed on my engine. Guy won't reply to any of my emails or anything. I sent him the whole amount but he said he can't afford shipping, which was included in the price. If I don't get my engine I will have to sell the car.

HOLD ON hold on.....The guy said he never got around to contacting me. He said he has been at the D.r's and he has been sick. He said he has another $50 to go until he can ship it. So he said it should be out within the next two days. I'm not holding my breath but let's hope he means it.

 

I'm getting a motor, too, guys! I know a guy with a wrecked N/A FC racecar that I'm going to buy for the motor. Do you any of you guys need FC parts? After I get the motor out, the car is going to the junk yard; so, if any of y'all need aftermarket FC suspension parts, stock FC wheels, aftermarket wheels or anything else, let me know.

The motor I am getting started life as an S4 N/A engine, but it has FD housings and rotors, streetporting, water jacket milling, and some other ****. If any of y'all need some FC EFI stuff, let me know because that stuff is coming off the motor, as well.

 

Aww **** your getting the race engine? I thought you were getting the engine out of the other car? Or maybe I just read that or heard you wrong.lol

 

Well, the "race engine" isn't anything particularly special. It's just another streetported 13B.....

I can't wait to see the differences in our cars. Heh.

 

****, where do I start? She's currently at Freddie's gettin' the following done:
New Wiring Harness installed
AC leak fixed
NKG racing plugs installed
Knock sensor installed
GReddy pulley set installed
And a couple of other minor things fixed...

I got a new tune from Mark that seems to have fixed the oscilating idle. (U Da Man!)

I also picked up Petros' sweet sound system, so that will be installed in the near future along w/ some much needed tint... Then I might slow down on the spending... nah!

 

Big Len...........you catching up to the rest of us in a hurry man $$$$ Your car should be in damn good shape after all that work. Good to hear.

I bought a wrecked S5 N/A racecar today. I will start tearing down the engine bay later today. Hopefully, I get my parts in, the motor out of the racecar, and into my car in two weeks.

It's an S4 N/A block that's streetported with FD housings, S5 N/A rotors, and the aux ports completely removed. I will be pulling everything off of the block, putting my Mikuni 44PPH side draft on it, and start tuning it.

I drove the car down the road today (even thought it has no tags, insurance, or windsheild) and above 4.5k the damn thing hauls pretty good.

I can't wait to get it into my FB...

 

Talked to Brian at BNR and my turbos should be shipping today!!! Whoot!!!

 

What stage are you going? Are you keeping sequential?

BTW, when's the next meet? Josh (southernrunner) is still up for a meet at his house, but he wants to get his car functional first. Pretty much everyone is still functional, right? Well, I know Leonard is down for a little while, but is anyone else down? I should be back on the road tomorrow, and Josh should be getting his motor next week. Also, Zonblitz (sorry, I can't remember your name), said he should be up by the end of June.


Sooooo...... Let's start the planning! How about a "Back-to-School" gathering? Hahaha. August would be so miserably hot, though.... Toss out your ideas, fellas.

yes stage 3 bnr's... but I have to finish working some ot to pay jonathan and freddie for my work... I'm figuring august as far as a completion time... My car runs now tho... it's my dd.

Gonna do the BNR Stage 3's, Fuel system and non-sequentail conversion.... also mayeb a couple of other pm things, front bushings, top mounts and wiring harness.
