What's going on you guys? I was just wondering and thinking that we should plan for the next meet. I was thinking, if you guys wanted, we could have it at my house. I have a nice size half circle driveway. That would be nice to see filled with Rx7's lol. If we can do it at the right time we could put all of our money together and get a big crawfish boil going. My house is kind of in the middle of New Orleans and Houma. A little bit closer to Houma. I figure we can eat and everything at my house then go for a nice cruise and have a little fun. Just let me know or throw out some other ideas. I say we start with some dates. After we can work on the place. Can't wait to have another meet, hope it is a good one like the last one. Oh and if someone can talk to Art, ask him if he can bring those chrome M&M candy things. Those things were pimp. lol

BTW, I'm down for just about anything considering I live across the street. I just hope that one of our cars are running soon!

^ that would be the easiest thing to do!!!! We would have ot worry about collecting any money. Of course where ever the meet is there will ahve to be a bbq pit on hand, because I don't think anyone is going to stap on the the roof of thier 7. That woudl def. be the easiest way to go.

I have a grill here. Oh and no I never did attepmt to take the dash. Its to intimidating after the last dash I "TRIED" to pull out. I say we try and get ahold of Ted, Mark, Art, and the rest of the guys.

 

Sound good...I could give u a hand if you need to if we meet at your house--or at least show u what to get to...Its really not that hard if you know how its in there...I used to be able to get my FC dash out in under 15min...Anyway, I need to eat some BBQ soon so lets have that meet. Too damn crawfish cost a fortune right now!

 

I know it's at 1.79 out here, I will keep checking to see how low it will go. Where in Gretna do you live? If you not busy like tomorrow before 4:30 or something we can meet up and you can come check out the dash and see if my house will be good enough for a bbq. lmao. I love that show. So I will check in with the local seafood places and see if they went any lower than $1.79 a pound for crawfish. I am really in the mood for crawfish but I guess we can always vote. Crawfish or BBQ? Let's hear your preference. I have the pot and burner along with BBQ pit. The pit isn't the biggest though.

Ted gave me a head's up on this thread.

My wife says we can host another GTG. If we do this on a Sunday, it will enable the Meineke crew [Freddie, Cliff, Jacob and Jonathan] and other rotary-savvy members [Art, Barry, Bubba and Chris] to attend.

How's about April 30? We can cater some of the food, we can grill some of the food and people can bring some dishes like casseroles, salads, desserts, etc.

We can sort out how we'll do the food, but let's nail down a date that will allow as many as possible to attend from GNO, Slidell, St. Charles, Houma-Thibodaux and Baton Rouge.

 

i am all for april 30th! i think the best way to get the biggest turnout would be to have it on

a sunday. imho (sunday the 30th=great!). ill be help'n mark out with some of the plan'n so

Sevens on the Shore meet in Houma, LA. We'll lock down a list on the grub, etc.... I'm gonna shoot out an email to the list and see if we can bring some old school Sevens on the Shore guys out of MIA.

 

Damn I don't think I will have my car up and running by then. Maybe if I get ina mad dash mode and work my *** off to pay for the rest of the crap I need I can make it. If not, Shawn and I will be showing up in this little beater which really blows. Where exactly are we going to hold. I wouldnt mind holding at my house do to having plenty of parking with a half circle driveway. Just a thought. Let us know where and what we need to bring.

I do have a relatively huge driveway that is a half circle. I mean I don't know about you guys but I would love to see that filled with 7's.
