Dazy, dig the hair!
The turnout was pretty good. Not the approximately 400 that we once had but we'll get there again I hope. Perhaps this time without HonDuh guys coming in and shooting the place up again.
All three generations of RX-7s were pretty well represented including some very nice T-IIs and VERY hot FDs. 1sgen's ever so slightly modifed FB was present of course. It was nice to see Steve Kan again although I didn't get to talk to him as much as I would have liked to. Typical. There were several nice EVO's there although I didn't get to go and talk to them, I got sidelined by several other RX-7 guys I hadn't met yet and many that I haven't seen in a good long while. I'll try to catch up with them next time. I'm sure there is more that I'm forgetting but it's pretty late for a guy that's been getting up when most of you yung'uns are just getting to bed (4:00am-ish).
Hopefully all of you guys that are out cruising now (that's, well, everyone) all make it home safe and sound and without a ticket. Take lots of pictures for me so I can see EXACTLY what I'm missing.

The meet was so cool. All kind of RX7's , RX8's plus vettes, evo's, a 350z, a 240, a couple of Honda's and many more. It was great to see such a variety of sport compact cars and everyone getting along like one big family. I got lost during the cruise but it was still great. To the guy from Louisiana and his girl, thanks for coming out. Your 2nd gen. is very clean.

wow! nice pictures... and from what i see, if i went to the meet, i'd be the only one rolling in a "MULTI-COLORED" FC. black hood, light blue fenders and dark blue doors (Thanks to Curtis James of Rotary Innovations, BTW). i'd probably park way down there at the back. but yeah, sorry i didn't make it due to difficulties... u know, working on the car and having hypoglycemia (recovering from being rushed to the ER...)
hope u boys (and some girls) had fun during the meet!

Thanks Tim!!
I had a blast. Thanks to everyone who made it out. I counted roughly 50 cars, representation mentioed above. I got to chat with some people who I don't know your screen or real names, but I'd seen you before. Hopefully I'll catch one or the other the next go 'round. The cruise was awesome and we need to do that more often so I can shoot flames. : Maybe something a little shorter next time though....

Yea, big appologizes to those that thought 10thani, as well as I and a few others, were going to Addison and followed our more tame, and steady, paced group as the front runners were going as fast as oblivion. 100+ is pretty twitchy with bushings, and mainly the DTSS... DTTS(whatever you wanna call it), that are 17 years old. Suspension, and a few other replacements, were already planned for next week's paycheck
Started the cruise with half a tank... by the time i got home it was 1/8th of a tank. GOO~stuff

I think I was in the slow/steady group you speak of... 100++ mph ain't too great in a civic either. I have never boosted so much in 5th gear in my life. Anyways, had a great time even though I managed to miss an exit, get lost for a bit, and not make it to hooters till most had left.

btw was that red supra a part of the cruise? Or did we just happen to pass by him in a furry of buzzing rotaries and 4 n 6 cylies and he felt obligated to tag along or race somebody? Or was he just a late attendant? I do not remember him anywhere during the departure nor for the first half of the trip. Next thing I know he's beside me then sped off with the lead pack.
btw it was nice of the lead pack to stop on the exit to 20 to wait for us... only to leave us in the dust again
