$200 gets you at least four 20 minute sessions with classroom instruction. If you're an Apex grad, you'll get 6-7 20 minutes session (less classroom, more track, I imagine)

Keep in mind, this is CHEAPER than if you were even a member:

Members pay: $96/mo
PLUS $20 a session.

Seven 20 minutes session would cost you $140 PLUS the monthly $96.

Damon- you said you get bored if there's no competition. Well, I'm not as good a driver as you are, but I'll give it a shot anyway. I'm callin' you out, cowboy.

Bring those spinning triangles out and let's have some fun, eh?

Well, you guys missed a GREAT time out there. It was damn near 70 degrees and perfectly sunny. What a PERFECT day to race.
For the graduates, I got six runs (I opted to eat lunch so I skipped the seventh session) and there were AT MOST five cars on the track. For two of the sessions, I was ALONE.

Had my first ever off, though. All four wheels.
Coming into Rattlesnake (120 MPH at this point), heel/toe'd down to third, but the brakes had been fading all day so the pedal was a little low. Instead of a nice solid brake, the pedal sank and my foot, still positioned on both pedals, mashed the gas AND the brake.

Needless to say, it didn't stop as quickly as I'd hoped.

Drove straight off rather than attempting to make the corner and hitting the dirt sideways.

Oh well- no harm to the car! I managed to turn a 1:26.5 too! I know it's not great, but not bad for my second time ever on the track.

I was up to my *** in drywall this weekend. I started stripping the wallpaper in what will be the baby's room and it went fine until I got to the last layer; then the drywall started coming apart. I hate wallpaper so rather than hang new paper to hide it I'm hanging new sheetrock in the whole damn room

It would have been a gorgeous day out there and you can't beat the price though. For seven sessions I can't think of a better bargain; I'll go again sometime. I did get to drive a Cayman on Saturday. One of the few cars I've driven that I could honestly say would be more fun than the RX-7.

Autox season starts March 19. Fresh tires will be here shortly. You know where to find me

I'll be there! I have to put a new set of wheel bearings in this weekend. Appearantly sticky tires and negative camber is not good for them. Who knew?

I have a set of 710's sitting in the garage now. See you in 6 weeks!
