Well, finally I have gotten off my *** and decided to pack up my life in Laredo and move up to the Dallas area. Should be up here by the 31st of January.

Been apartment/rental house hunting for a few days now in Denton and points south between denton and DFW airport. Basicly , my biggest concern was garage space. Its KEY...be so much easier finding a place if i didn't have a rotary problem.

I have found some cheap houses in Denton like a 3bedroom with a two car garage for 700 per month. But the neighborhood is sketch. And I am thinking the utility cost for a home might kill me.

Then I found some NICE apartment homes in the Lewisville area. There is one place I think I am going to go with . Basicly, a one bedroom 660 sq ft for $575 a month. Thats nice. But the killer part is I can rent a detached garage.

The kicker is its 25'X11' garage with a 6'X7' storage area for $80 extra a month! Gonna call the small room the engine building room I had NO idea there was stuff like this.

You guys know of any places like this in that area?

 

congrats.. and there are tons of apartments in DFW but i dont know of any in Lewisville for 575! thats a great deal!

LOL- I've hit golf ***** into that apartment complex from the par-3 course across the street. That location is nice because the lake is literally down the street.

There's also a nice performance shop about two miles away on Mill street- RPM Performance- and the service shop my family has been taking our cars to for over a decade- Advanced Automotive.

 

Golf ***** .... parking lot? Man good thing I have the garage
