hey, this guy that did my intercooler piping is going to have a "grand Opening" this saturday night. its gonna be at night though. not sure when. usually the guys that hang out on the strip at carpet and tile are at carpet and tile. but, we have a local speed shop, and a big-*** cheesy small-balled car club called, "Humble" (they are a rice factory of a club) and they infiltrated our hang-out. apneablue and project D usually chill at carpet and tile. however, we are going to see if some of those guys will make it to this grand opening. its away from all the bullshit that goes on at the "spot" now, and theres a road thats about a 0.5 mile long, a small windy road for road-racing, and quick access to 51 (highway 51) for hi-speed runs. anyway, if youre interested, pm me and i can give you my number or some thing if you wanna hang out. ill let you know if there are gonna be mucho grande people or not. sounds like it should be a get together for the tuner minded people. gonna try to bring my xbox and we can get on xbL if theres enough people interested. also, they have a fridge and microwave. so, snacks could be readily available. ill let you know if anyone will bother to show up.

Why is it that everytime I go anywhere near the carpet and tile store, I never see any of you guys. My daughter works in the area, so I often go see her on the weekend evening/night. Heck, I am always in the car, since I seldom drive anything else.

i saw a red na fc and a fb (forget color) the night we were at the carpet and tile, sat the 9th i guess it was, they went through the stoplight. we were on memorial.

 

If you saw an FB on memorial, it was most likely me. If it looked like the one below, it was me. I have seen a couple FC's & FD's drive past the lot where she works (Sonic @ 48th and memorial), and figured they *might* drop in, but never do. I have not seen any other FB's in the area. There will be an SA soon though, my buddy just bought one, and he goes up there to visit with my daughter or niece occasionally.
The 9th was one night I had something else to do, so I just dropped her off, and didn't return till later, to pick her up.

Yeah, that's the one I have been going by. East of memorial on 41st, between the dealership and the BA. My daughter and neice both work at the Sonic 48th and memorial, so I go by there most weekends. Since my daughter has been staying with me, and doesn't drive yet, I usually take her to and from work, and almost always drive the car.

hey. i had a blast in Tulsa. I'm really looking forward to coming back out there... If i thought i could get a summer job at one of the casino's next year i would move out there for the summer. i need a good job

 

yep. 383 bored out to 389 ci (unless i can find a free 440 locally) i should have the firewall sealed up in a week, and engine mount in the car in 3 or 4 days. if it woudl stop being so damn hot i could do it sooner.
