Josh told me today that some guy he knows gave him a card to some guy he knows who's putting on an event at NPR. As you can tell, Josh is ON TOP OF THIS ****! The details he gave in his telling of this story were astounding. Hahaha.

Anyways, hopefully we can get Josh to call this guy up and see what is going down. The more people we get to go, the cheaper the entry price will be. And, I'm sure I could probably get my dad to go out there, too.

BTW, Kenny told me yesterday that he had plans with the Mrs. today. Plus, I'm sure he needed some time to rest after all that hard work yesterday.

Yeah I know I was lacking on details in my story, but this is what the guy said.

The guy driving the grey EVO at the auto cross event was telling me he runs out at NPR every once and a while and we should join them. His best bud rents out the track ocasionally and is planning to do it at the end of July. He gave me the guys number and told me to call him and tell him how many guys are interested in joining them because the more there are the cheaper the enterance fee is. He said he would love to see some sevens out there with them so I am going to give this guy a call and let them know.

I want to thank the New Orleans and Houma members for their kindness and road trip by the lake.

I envy your non MTBE/non Ethanol gas that I used while driving in Louisiana. The car idled and ran better. In Houston we now have 10% ethanol blends.

We should have stopped by the lake where it was cooler so we could check out each others cars!

Hey guys, I know i'm not an RX-7 owner, but I just wanted to drop a quick note for the RX-7 people that were out at Zephyr on Saturday.

I was the novice in the blue Mazda3 sedan - or the chick smiling like crazy in Marshall's passenger seat in one of these pictures.

If I had my way - and some money - I'd be an RX-7 owner myself...

I had a blast at the autox and those of you who were out there were really awesome! You guys helped me out a lot and I really appreciate. I was out there solo and had NO idea what to do, and you all rocked at helping and giving advice. I look forward to seeing you all at future events ^_^

Might not be able to drive the crap out of the 3 for a bit. She's got a date with the dealership tomorrow morning. Might or might not be autox related. Didn't start acting up until last night though, so its probably not.

She's got an unpleasant sounding "ping" in the engine and a strange 'pop' in the brakes that weren't there prior to 9:30 last night. (Like my technical terms there?)

Thanks for the welcome. I'll be lurking around here and keeping track of what's going on.

Hopefully my 3 will turn out fine and I can catch up to you guys at the next autox!
