Anywho Jonathan, I went and saw your friend Robbie today and he has my car. I hopefully will be getting it back tomorrow morning. THanks for the advice about going to see him. I feel a little bit better since you recomended him.

We ain't formal; showin' up before 6 pm is okay - it's just more socializing.
But Sunday is the main event..........

I got all my parts in my house for my fuel system and NS conversion... BNR's should arrive today or tomorrow... If Matt wasn't dropping off his car this weekend, I'd be dropping mine off...
Hey Jonathan/Freddie -- How involved is changing out the rear wheel bearings? I believe I need them and have them at my house, just not many tools... Is that something we could do on saturday morning? Let me know.
Thx!

I'd have to throw Jack into that group as well.
Guys, 11 am Sunday morn. let's gather in the parking lot in front of Fox and Hound facing Clearview. We'll start our own car show there. Haven't been able to drum up much interest from the local Rx-8 owners as there aren't many in the first place. Should have at least one though and a guy with a Mazda 6 says he'll be there too.
What's the word on the V-8 FD contingency ? Are they available to join us ? See yallz there !!

Josh, Marshal, and whoever else is going to the AutoX. If you see the blonde autox'ing the Red Rx-8 go up to her and let her know I've been trying to contact her about our meet. Her name is Monique and she has been wanting to get with us for a while now.
However, I cannot find her email addy and she hasn't been on the Rx-8 forum in a while either.

The V8s are at home in Pensacola this wknd; we can't make the match. Rick tells me both cars run well.
Rick is based in Houma and Frank flys outta Venice, Houma and New Iberia, but expect another Sat. evening GTG (they fly daylight hours every day) in the near future with the V8FDs.

Well, it turns out that I'm not going to run my car tomorrow, but I will be out there (just not at 9am heh). Most likely, I will show up around 1 or 2. Josh, are you still riding with me? My dad isn't going, and Alison has no interest in standing out in the heat.
So, who's runnng tomorrow? I need to know who I am going to be cheerleading for; that way, I can come up with the cheers and dances tonight.

I'm still in, let me know when you plan on leaving though. I want to try and move my car right in front of the garage so when I want to put the engine in I can just take the hood off and drop it in. Just hit me up on aim and let me know.

Well Marshall and I will def be running tomorrow. I don't know about anyone else. I wish I could strap on my new Greddy IC, but I have duct for it so it seems like I will be running the stocker. O well, hopefully I will still beable to represent.
Maybe you can sing something like "Go,go montego blue, your car is not new, and your really poor too, so really REALLY poor that you live in a shoe!! Go GO montego blue."
Meh, maybe I will just stick to shooting things.
See yall this weekend.

That was fun to watch. First time I have ever been to an AutoX. Will be even better next time 'cause my car will be on the track. Of course not nearly like Kenny. Watching him do the course was sweet. I had fun and it was good to meet you guys. May try to make it over tomorrow to meet some more of the local 7 folks.

Are you the guy with the GORGEOUS -SE that was parked out there?
That car was so beautiful, man. I was seriously jealous.
Maybe once it cools down some, I'll actually go out there to race. It's too god damn hot to commit to being out there all day working and what not.
Hey you Houma/Thibodaux guys, what time are y'all leaving? If you are all riding out together, I'd love to tag along. I was planning on leaving here at 10:20-ish, to insure a prompt, on-time arrival. However, if y'all are going to be riding through somewhere near that time, I might as well just hop on board.
Let me know what's going down!
BTW, congrats to all, and huge props to Kenny for that blistering 36.6 second time! YOU WERE HAULIN', MAN!

Yeah. I can't take credit for its shape though. I bought it back in March pretty much like it is. Always wanted a GSL-SE ever since I read an article about them back when they came out. Found this one in great shape and had to have. Man it is fun to drive.
BTW: The MR2 was light green.

Yeah, thanks for organizing Ted. Sorry we didn't get to say goodbye to the Houma crew. Next time lets get a "sevens on the shore" shot BEFORE the cruise...
Good to see ya Charlie. Have a safe trip!

Awww c'mon.... It wasn't that hot. I actually think yesterday felt hotter than today, but maybe it was the lack of shade yesterday that really did it.
August will be when it actually gets hot.
I noticed today that even though I drove my car really hard, I still got about the same gas mileage as I do when I just putt-putt around. So, I guess it's just time to stop caring about gas mileage and drive the damned car.

It was real cool meeting all the 7 owners!! Hope to catch you guys again soon.
IT WAS FREAKIN' HOT SATURDAY!! I think we had 3 7's trophy, Josh, Patrick (F-mod Z06 powdered "showtime" FD), and blistering Kenny.
I had the heaviest 7 out there and laid down a 42.1 in the vert...

Good seeing everyone with their 7's running !!! Nice showing of 1st gens and Lens T2. Next time, we'll head to Mark's house again so he doesn't have to fight all the elements down here and we get to duck into some AC as well. Also, he's got plenty of room to maneuver outside.
Chuck does have one pretty *** FD, too bad we didn't get a good enough look at it.
Also, I'd really like to put my Z06 on a track soon ! Let's look into NPR events and we'll bring out the artillery. I'm talking road course, not the strip. I know my bro. is dying to put his 996TT on the track too. Last time out there in my FD, we had the FULL course to do as we pleased for only $100 a head all day long.
Kenny, where WAS you maaaaaaaaaaan ??
